That engine(even if it is a single) is a piece of history. Snicker all you want, but is your engine worth $35,000+?

lol.. my cars combined aren't worth that. What is it out of? I see it's a ford, since I can read, but I couldn't even guess about the age... but why would anyone put a 35k engine, that's not incredibly fast, in a car unless they are restoring to factory?

Actually, it's a very potent engine. somewhere on the shorter side of 600+ horsepower and 600 foot-pounds of torque. It's a mid-60's Nascar big-block made by (obviously) Ford. They never came in any car you could buy off the showroom floor, however, you could buy the engine complete(by itself) and put it in whatever you wanted. They're extremely hard engines to get a hold of, and if you do find one, you'll pay dearly for it. On top of the fact that parts for them are almost impossible to get as well. there were perhaps 50 or so sold to the public, hence their ridiculous asking price.
